The Resurrection of All in All in The Spiritual Body of Christ

The Eternal Vantage Point

"The Resurrection of All in All within the Spiritual Body of Christ."

An old Quaker confession of faith by Robert Barclay got me thinking about the Coming of Christ, the Resurrection, and the Consummation and how waiting for these events in time differs from the eternal realities.

Does God, Outside of Time, existing in an Eternal Present, allow chronological time-lines for the benefit of our human minds?

In the twinkling of an eye, the Resurrection of Everything. Changing the way we see reality. How do you see it? What do you think?

This article is a springboard for a very practical discussion about the extent of Christ’s indwelling spirit, and our Father’s view of his creation. Join the discussion if you have insights to share. Together we are sure to discover the truth. The Danger and Potential of An Eternal Perspective: An Email Discussion

Dear Friends,

In the beginning was the Word. (John 1:1) The Christ, the One Body. And so shall it be in the End.

We look not at the things which are seen, (the troubles we can see right now - NLT) but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

Christ is the beginning, the middle and the end. The Christ is that which WAS, that which IS, and that which IS TO COME. Revelation 1:8

“He is the BEGINNING… so that He alone IN EVERYTHING and in every respect might occupy the chief place – stand first and be pre-eminent.” Colossians 1:18.

He is the MIDDLE. For Christ is all and in all. Colossians 3:11.

He is the ENDING. 1Corinthians 15:24

HE is the Alpha and the Omega. Revelation 1:11. He is the whole alphabet. Christ is all there is. All and in all.

Can you see Him?

We don't look at the troubles we can see right now; rather, we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the things that are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

We may have seen Jesus. Hebrews 2:9, but now “henceforth know we no man after the flesh” 2 Corinthians 5:16

But we see the “Christ, (he is Lord of all:)” Acts 10:36. And He “is over all.” Romans 9:5. And He is all. Colossians 3:11.

And we know that when we shall see Him, then we shall be like him.

“Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, (be made manifest), we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he IS.” 1 John 3:2. “Christ IS all.” Colossians 3:11. “And you are complete in him.” Colossians 2:10

You are completed in Christ. Christ is completed in you. This is Christ in you the hope of glory, Looking to the things that are unseen, to the things that are eternal, where Christ is all and in all, The eyes of our understanding being enlightened to behold him in all things, Ephesians 1:18. That Christ might be made manifest in us and in all things,

In the twinkling of an eye, changing the way we see reality,

Knowing that every eye shall see him,

Ken,

On your blog you have expressed a concern about the following teachings:

1) That there is no more old nature
2) That there is no more warfare
3) That there is no more iniquity
4) That we are already Christ in the earth
5) That Christ is now in every soul on earth, every man, woman and child
6) That we are without imperfection in our daily faith

I too have had a concern that these "truths" could lead to a falling away and a departure from faith for many. The liberty achieved by good doctrine can be used not only to liberate people from bad religion, but also in some, since they no longer feel any need, as an excuse to turn away from God. Nevertheless, I trust our God is in control, and will work this out for good. We are marching forward.

On the lighter side:

YARD WORK - AS VIEWED FROM HEAVEN
(overheard in a conversation between God and St. Francis):

God: Francis, you know all about gardens and nature; what in the
world is going on down there in the U.S.? What happened to the
dandelions, violets, thistles and the stuff I started eons ago?
I had a perfect no-maintenance garden plan.Those plants grow
in any type of soil, withstand drought, and multiply with abandon. The nectar from the long-lasting blossoms attracts butterflies, honeybees, and flocks of songbirds. I expected to see a vast garden of color by now. All I see are patches of green.

St. Francis: It's the tribes that settled there, Lord. They are called the Suburbanites. They started calling your flowers"weeds" and went to great lengths to kill them and replace them with grass.

God: Grass? But it is so boring, it's not colorful. It doesn't attract butterflies, bees or birds, only grubs and sod worms. It's temperamental with temperatures. Do these Suburbanites really want grass growing there?

St. Francis: Apparently not, Lord. As soon as it has grown a
little, they cut it....sometimes two times a week.

God: They cut it? Do they bale it like hay?

St. Francis: Not exactly, Lord. Most of them rake it up and put
it in bags.

God: They bag it? Why? Is it a cash crop? Do they sell it?

St. Francis: No sir, just the opposite. They pay to throw it away.

God: Now let me get this straight...they fertilize it to make it
grow and when it does grow, they cut it off and pay to throw it
away?

St. Francis: Yes, sir.

God: These Suburbanites must be relieved in the summer when we
cut back on the rain and turn up the heat. That surely slows
the growth and saves them a lot of work.

St. Francis: You aren't going to believe this Lord, but when the
grass stops growing so fast, they drag out hoses and pay more
money to water it so they can continue to mow it and pay to get
rid of it.

God: What nonsense! At least they kept some of the trees.
That was a sheer stroke of genius, if I do say so myself.
The trees grow leaves in the spring to provide beauty and shade
in the summer. In the autumn they fall to the ground and form a
natural blanket to keep the moisture in the soil and protect the
trees and bushes. Plus, as they rot, the leaves become compost
to enhance the soil. It's a natural circle of life.

St. Francis: You'd better sit down, Lord. As soon as the leaves
fall, the Suburbanites rake them into great piles and pay to
have them hauled away.

God: No way! What do they do to protect the shrubs and tree
roots in the winter to keep the soil moist and loose?

St. Francis: After throwing the leaves away, they go out and buy
something called mulch. They haul it home and spread it around
in place of the leaves.

God: And where do they get this mulch?

St. Francis: They cut down the trees and grind them up to make
mulch.

God: Enough! I don't want to think about this anymore.
Saint Catherine, you're in charge of the arts. What movie have
you scheduled for us tonight?

St. Catherine: "Dumb and Dumber," Lord. It's a really stupid
movie about...

God: Never mind--I think I just heard the whole story from Saint
Francis!

"What is to be, already is; and God restores." Ecclesiastes 3:15 (Confraternity-Douay Version)

Hi Dean,in regards to the Spiritual body of Christ.

Matt.13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 41The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall "gather out of his kingdom" all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43"Then" shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their 'Father'. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

The kingdom of the Son has tares in it. The Kingdom of the Father is without tares.

1Cor.15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25For he must reign, "till" he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

"then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all"

What are your thoughts?

Peace to you.
