Proclaiming The Perfect Man

Asleep in the Light

The other night I had a dream. There was a house in the sky, and another on the earth. A friend of mine, using a square, was struggling to build a corridor or a partition to connect the two, to bring them together. Unsuccessful, he was requesting my assistance, but strangely enough, I was using a bowl of fruit to explain that we did not need to build a bridge.

This dream inspired an article about the ignorance that blinds the old humanity and about the perspective of the new and perfect man, Ephesians 4:18.

For we all come into the… "the knowledge of the Son of God, to a Perfect Man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ", Ephesians 4:13.

The article considers what it might mean to wake up with a new "fulfilled" perspective.

Knowing that hope does not disappoint, we move from faith to knowledge to perfect love, being filled with all the fullness of God proclaiming the Perfect Man.

You are a liar. Not ALL men are Universally saved. It ios by the Grace and Mercy of God to them who repent and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Do you not fear God for teaching what is NOT in His Word. Twisting and turning to suit you and other created men -molding God- ALMIGHTY Holy and Righteous GOD into an "image" that you want? That is SO WRONG -in more ways than I can tell you. You belong to a cult and all cults are of the devil their father. Paul says NOT to do what you have done and if ANY OTHER comes along preaching or teaching a "message, even if it's an angel-to let them be accursed."-( paraphrased)- Repent and stop teaching the lies of satan. You not only lead yourself into that hell and then the Pit for all eternity with him--but countless others too who want "an easier softer way." THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY+JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD. THIRD PERSON OF THE TRINITY= FATHER, SON , AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Susan,

Thank you for you heartfelt comment.
It is a good thing to examine ourselves whether we be in the faith. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the fellowship of his Spirit be with you.

Susan,

You may have noticed that it has been many months since the last posting. It is better to be silent than offend. However, your posting deserves a response.

An understanding that “not ALL men are Universally saved” is reasonable and worthy of respect. There is a sense in which man without Christ “having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart… walks, in the vanity of the mind,” Ephesians 4:17-18. If salvation is knowing Christ, then most of humanity would declare that they are not saved. This understanding recognizes the alienation much of humanity still feels. In this sense, the salvation of the soul (the mind, the will, and the emotions) is a progressive work. Not all can see Christ or his love at this time. This is not to diminish the work of Christ. One day every eye will see him. And for the One who knows the beginning from the end, and sees both as one and the same, a limited human perspective is not a threat to the divine purposes.

Your emphasis on “the Grace and Mercy of God” is worthwhile. Those who focus on the grace and mercy of God are not far from the kingdom. It is the goodness of God that leads to repentance, Romans 2:4.

You mention the belonging to a cult. Christ is not divided. Those who separate themselves into sects or divisions separate themselves from the One who is undivided. Jude wrote of those who “separate themselves having not the spirit.” As you may have been suggesting, it is wise to be wary of human religious organizations that inadvertently attempt to divide Christ by separating believer from believer. We are one body, members one of another.

Your thoughts are worth considering. You have much to contribute to the body. There seems to be strong emotion behind your words. The mysteries can be troublesome, and if they are to be presented, then it is better being done with love lest we offend. Love can have the pre-eminence. The love of Christ is not to be understood as an excuse to act contrary to one’s own conscience, but rather as the motivation to higher living. There is a responsibility to share what is given for the sake of the body, but in love, without offense as much as lies within us.

Sometimes, these mysteries are better left unsaid. For others there is a need to hear of the unconditional love of Christ that will assure the heart before him. Either way our focus can be on the Christ, and we each have a role to fill within the body.

Blessings on you and your ministry.

I personally disagree with what Susan said. I do not agree that Universal Salvation / Ultimate Reconciliation is a false teaching. It is because of this truth that I have understood well in my spirit what it really means to be 'saved' or 'born again''in Christ Jesus. I became more closer/intimate with God and have been delivered from many personal fears. When a certain biblical truth is not yet revealed in our spirit, some Christians judged or condemned it right away as false. But no one can really say who is 'saved'or 'not saved'. Man looks at the outward appearance but our Heavenly Father looks at the heart.

"Sometimes, these mysteries are better left unsaid. For others there is a need to hear of the unconditional love of Christ that will assure the heart before him. Either way our focus can be on the Christ, and we each have a role to fill within the body."

Amen, very well said. God has tremendously used this on-line ministry to personally minister to me and I am forever grateful for this. Keep on sharing this message of unconditional love of God. More of Christ's Presence in our lives. :-)
